Flight

So, the first Brown Line train to the loop runs at 4:46am on weekdays. That's the one I wanted for my flight on Thursday. My flight was at 7:30, so I figured I would get there around 6, if everything went smoothly, which is too early, but with two train lines to take there was a decent chance everything would not go smoothly.

But I woke up at 5:30. It was terrible. It was awful. I was outside looking for a cab by 6. I went to the Western and Montrose intersection, figuring that would be the best place to look for a cab. But there are not a lot of cabs at 6, no matter where you are. The first one I saw passed by and didn't pick, me up, which made me quite angry. I had given up and was on my way back to my apartment to call Southwest and figure out what to do, when another cab came down Montrose. This one stopped, and I made it to the airport by 7. I got through security and got my gate when they were half way through boarding.

The whole thing sucked, and I never want to do that again. Ever.
